Terms and Conditions
Placing your instructions. No contract is made between us until we have accepted the particulars that you have submitted to us and your payment for the initial registration fee has been received. We shall confirm acceptance by e-mail or in writing. Specialperils Ltd retains the right to refuse an application, without explanation, and in such circumstances will return the initial registration fee in full. Payment terms. The initial registration fee is payable by cheque drawn on a suitable U.K. Bank Account. Failure to make payment, for whatever reason, will mean suspension of your entry on the site and removal if payment is not made within seven days of our Default Notice being posted or e-mailed to you. Your Entry Your entry will only appear in the Map Area or Areas selected and paid for by you. The detail contained in the entry must be legal and factual and comply with the British Code of Advertising Standards Authority. Any amendments we may have to make will be notified to you for approval. We are not able to verify the truthfulness of any statements made by you and you will therefore be responsible for any losses, expenses or other costs incurred by us as a result of any inaccurate or untrue statements made by you. Changes, Interruptions and Cancellations Technically it is not possible to provide web sites free from interruptions (other than those caused by our negligence) and we cannot guarantee that your entry will enjoy continuous, fault-free, exposure. Routine maintenance will be carried out from time-to-time, but we shall attempt to keep any disruption to a minimum. Changes to your entry may be notified in writing at any time and will receive urgent attention. You may cancel your entry in writing at any time, but no refunds will be given. Our Liability If an entry is accepted but does not appear on our web site at all, you will be entitled to a pro rata refund unless the omission is caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control, or because of your cancellation of the entry, or your breach of contract. Our liability for breach of contract or negligence shall not exceed an amount equal to the one-off payment for the entry involved, other than any liability which may arise for personal injury or death caused directly by our negligence or that of our employees or agents. English Law shall govern these terms and conditions and the contract of which they form a part.
